Fire Sale: 2011 Honda Civic comes with an optional Sun Roof now

The Honda Civic is due for a facelift anytime now with the 2012 Civic all set to be brought to the country. Arch rival Toyota pulled off a fast one by shoehorning a diesel engine into the Corolla Altis’s engine bay on one hand and on the other with a price cut of the Petrol Corolla Altis.

This dual edged move has seen the Corolla Altis selling more than three times than the Honda Civic, much to Honda SIEL’s chagrin. To sweeten the deal for prospective Civic customers and to also usher in new Civic buyers, the Honda Civic’s V variant will come with an optional factory fitted electric sunroof with blue interior ambient lighting.

Along with this, buyers would also be able to opt for a few other dealer fitted extras like the rear sun curtain, illuminated side step garnish and rain protecting side door visorr at the option of the Civic buyer. Now, whether this move will actually put the wind back into the Civic’s sails is debatable, the Honda Civic loyalists might just find the sunroof a decent addition to still stand by the Civic.
