Mercedes Benz will launch the coupe version of C-class soon in the market with slight redesigning inside and out. This car is to star at the Geneva auto show in March 2011. It is based on the recently facelifted C-class sibling, with a hint of performance tweak. It now has a beautiful sloping glass roof, the huge three pointed star in the radiator grille, lower aerodynamic body.

The C250 variant features a 1.8 ltr four-cylinder petrol engine generating 201 bhp and 310 Nm of torque. It can go from standstill to 100 kmph in 7.1 sec. The C350 on the other hand produces 305 bhp and 370 Nm of torque from it’s 3.5 ltr V6 and is capable to reach 100 kmph from zero in 5.8 sec. All the engines feature GDi ( gasoline direct injection) technology.

Inside this two door coupe you get nine airbags, large display screens, blue-tooth, USB interface etc. The COMAND screen is now in 3D! The C250 features an all aluminum trim, while the C350 features rich burl walnut trim. The coupe is now 41mm lower than the saloon. It is aimed at the middle aged professional for whom “success, love of life and a strong sense of responsibility are all important”, Mercedes expresses this way.
