Good bye Murcielago…you’ll be missed
It’s with a rather heavy heart that these words are being penned. The free-spirited machine which launched itself to wall of fame in supercar history has finally driven off to the sunset. The last of the Lamborghini Murcielagos has rolled out of the production line and is going to find a new home in a place known for its delectable chocolates and highly classified bank accounts – Switzerland.
Car number 4099, an orange Murcielago SV was given a hero’s farewell by the craftsmen and engineers at the factory floor in Sant’Agata that it received a proud escort by the 350GT, Miura, Countach and Diablo. Now that’s what we call a proper farewell, people.
The Murcielago may be gone, but the legend will live on forever and from what we hear, the successor is wilder and more intoxicating than the outgoing bull. Keeping our fingers crossed and saving the drool for the Jota. You may choose to do the same.
