First on ICB: 2011 Honda Brio to be showcased in Honda showrooms by Month End!
2011 Honda Brio Hatchback
Honda SIEL seems to be taking a leaf out of Toyota Kirloskar’s book. Just like Toyota painted India red with the vermilion colored Etios Sedan doing the rounds to gauge customer feedback and to also give prospective buyers a chance to experience what the car was all about in the flesh, Honda too will showcase the Brio in select Honda showrooms across India, come end-March or early April.
This bit of buzz was confirmed by sources close to ICB and through this move, Honda plans to generate enough buzz around the Brio and secure a reasonable number of bookings as soon as the 1.2 Liter petrol engined Brio sees a Indian launch during the Dasara-Diwali festive season. But what that launch date also means is that the deliveries of the Brio will begin only in the fag end of 2011 or could possibly even stretch to early 2012.
So, the Etios Liva Hatchback might have it pretty easy as it won’t have the additional burden of having to compete with the Honda Brio. That said, this move from Honda has to be appreciated as Indian car buyers can actually have a feel of the Brio before them making their minds up to purchase one. Meanwhile, if you’re planning to buy a Honda Brio Hatchback, you might as well keep your eyes peeled out for one in your nearest Honda dealer, later this month.

We purchased New Honda City Automatic from Capital Honda, Chennai. The front RHS Tyre has bulged out and I have made complaint to Honda and No action is taken even after two months. Honda’s customer care is getting worst and worst on the other hand Hyundai is focusing mostly on customer satisfaction. If this this continues already bleeding Japanese Cars will loose their market share in India also very soon.
