Following the edgy yet rather classy design trend of Honda, this is how we reckon the next-gen Civic will be. The car is expected to carry forward the same basic shape of the old the car and be more of a facelift.

Civic has been loosing grounds to its rivals Cruze and Corolla and with the launch of next-gen Civic, Honda might be able to gain some market share back and boost the continuously dwindling sales numbers.

Diesels being the trend nowadays, company might offer their 1.6 Liter diesel engine along with the 1.8 Liter, 140 Bhp petrol mill. For all the environment loving people, Honda may provide a hybrid powertrain borrowed from the CR-Z too.
