Though the 2012 Honda Civic is a bit of a let down with it’s conservative styling, the Honda badge still holds sway and for good reason amongst folks who are ready to shell out over INR 10 lakhs for their set of four wheels.

The 2012 Honda Civic is one product that many people, who were staying away from the civic due to it’s radical looks would now prefer to buy over the Toyota Corolla Altis. Even as 2012 Civic Sedan deliveries have begun in the US of A, we have some drab news for you.

A little birdie from Honda SIEL tell us that Honda will launch the 2012 Honda Civic in India only in 2012 and until then, the existing model will continue to soldier on. So, that puts to rest all speculation surrounding the launch of the 2012 Civic in India.

On the brighter side of it if we may call it that, folks who are still smitten by the stealth looks of the current Honda civic still have some time to bring one home before Honda SIEL phases it out. By the way, which Civic will you love to own, the existing one or the 2012 version?

    still the current version is better than the next gen civic, can anyone message honda not to launch that next gen look civic,if they want to burn their fingers let them, the current civic, needs some more ground clearance, to tackle our roads, some suspension tuning, and nice sweet diesel engine with automatic gearbox, enough civic will be the best in class to tackle the counterpart corolla!
