While supercars going the hybrid way may not be to everyone’s liking, especially that of the purists, the hybrid Porsche 918 Hypercar that we first brought to you from the Geneva Motor Show might just hit the production floor with a vengeance.

After the massive response to the Porsche 918 Hybrid at Geneva, Porsche promised to kick start production if the number of bookings touched a 1000. Well, the confirmed bookings figure now stands at 900 and going by the way supercar enthusiasts are scrambling to book the 918 Hybrid, the grand mark is sure to be scaled within a month or so.

Porsche is already seriously mulling the production of the 918 Hybrid going by the marvelous response it is seeing and if you’re interested in buying one of these, you’d better hurry.
