Audi India pulled off a fast one on us by ushering in the Audi Q7 4.2 TDI Limited Edition a lot earlier than the originally scheduled launch date of April 24th, ’10. Why, we’ll perhaps never know but we like what we’re seeing and hearing. Like we had reported earlier, the Audi Q7 4.2 TDI gets some serious poke in the form of the mighty 4.2 TDI engine in an eight cylinder Vee, it being the most powerful Diesel that Audi has to offer yet.

While the power and torque stakes go northward, we also are mighty pleased with what goes southward, it’s price. Audi India has shaved off a 7 big ones off the Audi Q7 4.2 TDI’s price and this in turn results in the big bruiser being available Ex-Showroom Mumbai for as little as, relatively speaking of course, INR 58.68 Lakh. Now, this could leave ze two other Germans, namely Mercedes Benz and BMW, a little more than jittery.

And if you’re wondering what’s so limited about this car for it to deserve the LE tag, there’s nothing really, except for the fact that this mouth watering price won’t be available forever as this price is a means of Audi India commemorating three eventful years of it’s existence in the land of the Gandhi. In other words, Grab ‘em when you got ‘em.

If you’ve got fifty big ones and a penchant for big, butch bruisers, the Audi Q7 is something that you seriously ought to contemplate adorning your parking space. On hindsight, shouldn’t Audi be calling this the limited period offer than limited edition? Ah, hindsight.
