While the shift-on-the-fly four wheel drive system is standard on the Pajero Sport SUV, the Indonesia-spec model also gets the 2.5 Liter turbo diesel engine is a less powerful state of tune at 136 Bhp-314 Nm. In India though, Hindustan Motors-Mitsubishi sell the Pajero Sport with the more powerful version of the 2.5 Liter turbo diesel engine.
Now that the Pajero Sport Limited Edition has been launched in Indonesia, the new variant could be launched in the Indian car market as well, more so since officials from Hindustan Motors have emphasized the launch of new variants of the Pajero Sport in the coming months. The Pajero Sport SUV has been a good seller for Hindusan Motors-Mitsubishi, an Indo-Japanese car making alliance with a limited reach in terms of dealerships and after sales service centers in India. The launch of a limited edition model of the Pajero Sport could add to the numbers by building buzz around this capable SUV.
