New Suzuki Kizashi in the works?

While it is a decent car in terms of both price and performance, the North American market has been a tough nut to crack for Suzuki with it’s range topping Kizashi Sedan. So Suzuki has decided to do something to make the Kizashi fare better in the US of A. At next months, 2011 New York Auto Show, Suzuki will take the Kizashi to the “Next Level”.

While what exactly “next level” means remains unknown at the moment, word around the major Suzuki forums across the interweb are reverberating with stuff as varied as a turbocharged Kizashi to a Volkswagen Diesel engine powered Kizashi.

Whatever may be the case, we’re not betting on Maruti Suzuki on bringing the “Next Level” Kizashi to India anytime too soon as Maruti historically has been taking ages to give India product refreshes that global Suzuki models get. Any which ways, those of you curious enough to want to know what the “Next Level” Kizashi is all about may keep an eye out on this space.
