This points at seat belts not being worn. Incidentally, Dubey was the first to reach the victims, both lying in a pool of blood on the road. The airbags however seems to have deployed, although this is useless when seatbelts aren’t worn. Though the cabin of the Lamborghini Gallardo supercar does not seem to have disintegrated due to the crash from the images we have with us, death, it appears could have been caused due to the driver being thrown out of the car after the high speed impact ripped off the front section of the car including the front door.

Importance of seatbelts in cars

Seatbelts in cars are like helmets on motorcycle, and is one of the most critical safety feature that can save your life in the event of an accident. A seatbelt helps to pin you down into the seat in case of an impact, preventing whiplash injuries and injuries sustained due to the occupants of the car being thrown around the car hitting hard objects, during an accident. Also, seatbelts help the occupants of the car, stay in the car rather being thrown out of the car in case of accidents.  In case of cars equipped with airbags, failure to wear seatbelts can lead to the airbags not deploying and if in case the airbags do deploy, they could severely injure you if you do not wear a seatbelt due to the explosive nature with which an airbag deploys. So, please buckle up every time you step into your car.
