Murcielago’s replacement, the Lamborghini Jota is the latest in the line of raging bulls

The Lamborghini Murcielago flagship supercar has been aging and the boffins at Sant’Agata plan to give it a quiet retirement, come 2012. Here are a bunch of pics that the folks at AutomotiveAddicts managed to snag all the way from one of the frigid Scandinavian countries.

The Lamborghini Jota is set to feature a six liter V12 engine featuring direct injection that will help it pump out almost 700 horses, or is that bulls? All this power will be transmitted through a Haldex all wheel drive system.

Apart from this, the Lamborghini will feature a revolutionary aluminum space frame chassis and a good dose of carbon fiber for it’s body work. The Lamborghini Jota is expected to be sold as a limited edition when commercial production kicks off in 2012.
