Late 2010: That’s when BMW India will launch the BMW X1 SUV
BMW X1 Crossover SUV
Quite a while ago, we told you that the baby Beemer will hit Indian shores in early 2011 but it seems like BMW India can’t wait to give us Indians, a taste of an affordable, relatively speaking of course, baby BMW. So, BMW India has gone ahead to hasten things up a bit and now says that it will start producing the BMW X1 at it’s Chennai facility in late 2010. What BMW isn’t saying is how much for a BMW X1.
That said, we’re leaning on a killer pricing from BMW India as the BMW X1 will be manufactured right here in India. So, that means, the prohibitive import duties and all the other assorted shenanigans go right out of the window resulting in a, “I can buy one too” terrific price.
We’re expecting BMW India to price the X1 between INR 20-22 Lakhs and we can already feel the Honda CR-V and the Mitsubishi Outlander looking for some tissues. Start saving up people. Driving around in a BMW just got cheaper.

The X1 is possibly the most pointless man made thing after Himesh Reshamiya.
kindly provide me with more details with photographs and price of the car
The X1 version shown in the message about BMW’s expected launch of the ‘SAV’ differs from the one sold in Europe.
The ‘kidneys’ are smaller and the silver colored ‘bullbar’ is gone.
This results in a far better looking front for the ‘Indian X1′
