Unconfirmed CAD designs of the 2012 Palio have been leaked onto the world wide web giving rise to intrepid speculation predicting it to be the 2012 Palio, with some even going on to add that the 2012 Palio will see an Indian launch in 2012.

All this, even as these CAD sketches could entirely be of some other car, let alone the 2012 Palio. Assuming otherwise and considering these CAD sketches to indeed be of the Palio, how difficult is it really to build CAD designs?

Fiat's 5 Year Product Road Map

Manufacturers routinely ask their designers to come up with future product designs, all of which certainly don’t make it to the production floor. Coming back to the 2012 Palio, Fiat, in it’s 5 year road map at this year’s investors conference clearly mentioned that the 2012 Palio isn’t in the scheme of things and even went on to unveil a 5 Year Product Road Map, reports of which we carried earlier.

All these factors make it highly unlikely that the 2012 Fiat Palio will ever see the light of the day as the 2011 Fiat Uno is the model which, in all probability will replace the Fiat Palio. We rest our case.
