Mahindra launches Verito sedan at Rs 4.82 lakh
Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the new re-badged Logan, the Verito. The new car looks exactly the same as the old Logan apart from a few details like the roof-rails and scant body-cladding. The changes however new don’t make the car look any better. In fact, the roof-rails look pretty out of place on a mid-sized sedan. A lip-spoiler has also been added on the boot to add to the visual appeal.
Other features on the Verito include a ski-rack which is bit of an overkill and fog lamps. Add to that a few Mahindra logos which replace that of the Renault’s. The Verito is priced competitively at Rs 4.82 lakh for the petrol model and Rs 5.62 lakh for the diesel version and IndianCarsBikes was the first to break the pricing of the Verito.
Mr. Rajesh Jejurikar, Chief Executive, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said “The Verito, with its unique value proposition aligns with the Mahindra DNA of offering tough, rugged and sporty vehicles. For the first time, we are using social media platforms to unveil a new product, reflecting alternative thinking. The earlier Logan will continue to get complete service and spares support from us.”
