2017 Maruti Celerio Limited Edition launch price Rs 4.87 lakh. Available with 1.0 K-series petrol engine. Same specifications and mileage along with a standard accessory pack
Maruti Suzuki, India’s most popular car company, has launched a new limited edition of its Celerio hatchback. The new Maruti Celerio Limited Edition launch takes place ahead of the rumoured facelift, which might be seen at the 2018 Auto Expo. The new limited edition of the Celerio comes with the 1.0 K-series petrol engine. While the specifications and mileage are the same as earlier, there is a new accessory pack that tries to liven up the way this car looks.
The new special edition of the Celerio is based on the VXI and ZXI trims. It’s basically an accessory kit that is now being sold as a ‘limited edition’ model. While the cost of this accessory kit is Rs 19,989, the limited edition costs only Rs 11,990 more than the regular model.
The Celerio is no more available with a Diesel engine. So even the new limited edition has a petrol engine only. This is a K-series 1.0-litre motor that made its India debut on the Maruti A Star. This engine produces a max. power of 67 BHP and a peak torque of 90 Nm. It comes mated to a 5-speed transmission. You can also buy CNG variant, but the CNG compatible engine develops only 58 BHP and 78 Nm.
Maruti Celerio Limited Edition 2017 – Mileage
The petrol variant of the Celerio returns 20.36 KMPL, as tested by ARAI. The CNG variant returns 31.79 kilometres per kg.
