Finally, Mercedes Benz India launches the Mercedes Benz C200 CGI

Yesterday, Dr Wilfried Aulbur pulled the wraps off the long awaited Mercedes Benz C200 CGI at the Taj’s Land End Mumbai.

If you’ve been following ICB regularly, you’ll most certainly know that the C200 CGI features a 1.8 Liter, four cylinder turbo petrol that pumps out about 186 Bhp and 285 Nm of twist force.

While the power boost isn’t massive enough, the twist boost certainly is.

What this means is the C200 CGI should definitely be a hoot to hustle around and that definitely is a good thing. The C200CGI also features Mercedes Benz’s lean burn technology also known an BlueEfficiency which essentially means that with a light right foot in cruise mode, you’ll smile more every time you look at the fuel bills.

That, in a nutshell is what the C200 CGI is all about. The Mercedes Benz C200 CGI will retail for INR 28.44 Lakhs, Ex-showroom Mumbai.

bought the C 200 CGI in the very month of its launch and was the first few CGI cars delivered.
The C 200 CGI has been a big disappointment from the start.

The allignment was a big problem and the car swirls to the left all the time.

The engine is very non responsive and there is a terrible lag and the pick up is very slow.

Mileage is no where near to what was promised verbally of course.

I am one disappointed customer.

I think the C200 CGI is no better or different than the KOMPRESSOR.

You need to give a big push to accelarate.

At this price you dont expect this out of a mercedes benz.

I made a big mistake to buy the petrol instead of the deisel.

I am almost ready to sell it now.

Be careful before you buy one.

Tell us how the car has been, how the customer service at the dealer/ service center has been, any niggles with the car if any since you bought it etc. We would love to hear from you.
