Mercedes Benz will showcase an eclectic mix of cars ranging from the entry level luxury sedan, the C-Class to the resurrected classic hyper car, the SLS Gullwing AMG. Entering the league of Mercedes Benz Sedans begins with the entry level C Class. The new C class has been doing very good numbers for Mercedes Benz India. To keep the C Class line up fresh, Mercedes Benz is all set to unveil a new 2.5 Liter petrol engine called the C250 CGI BlueEfficiency. The 2.5 liter engine will pump out 204 Bhp and 210 Nm of twisting force.

If you are thinking that all this power will result in a pocket burning fuel bill, you couldn’t be more off the mark. The amazingly efficient engine will deliver an awe inspiring 14 Kmpl. time for the small car manufacturers to take a long hard look at their small cars’ fuel consumption figures. A combination of serious power with great fuel efficiency. In short, that is the Mercedes Benz C250 Sedan for you.

Mercedes Benz India will showcase the go anywhere bruiser of an SUV in it’s line up, the GL Class. This showcasing comes ahead of it’s scheduled India launch sometime in 2010. This SUV can seat seven full grown adults in total luxury while going dune bashing across the Sahara desert or otherwise shuttle people to the boardroom across the street with veritable ease. Talk about versatility. That said, the INR 85 Lakh, GL Class super luxury off roader will be be making it to Indian shores in the near future and Mercedes Benz India is shipping down a few examples to give Indians a brief glimpse.

Brand building is an important factor that attracts the big luxury marques to Auto Expos across the planet. What better an opportunity than the 2010 Indian Auto Expo for Mercedes Benz to build up some steam and envy? The brand builder which will grace the Mercedes Benz stall at the 2010 Auto Expo is the coupe version of the Mercedes Benz E Class.

This automobile gives the executive sedan a hint of sportiness by virtue of it’s coupe form. While Mercedes Benz doesn’t have any plans of bringing this model down to India, it will display the E Class Coupe at the 2010 Auto Expo for Indian car buffs to lust over.

Now, here is the showstopper that petrol-heads would give an arm and a leg for. We’re talking about the iconic Gullwing styled hyper car, the Mercedes Benz SLS Gullwing AMG. Mercedes Benz has gotten together with it’s tuning arm AMG, to produce this stonker of a automobile which produces all of 563 horsepower. All those horses are courtesy a massive 6.2 liter 8 engine that will propel the two seater straight to the hyper-car territory of 300 Kmph. It isn’t just the engine that is wow inducing. The SLS Gullwing’s form factor is the other big drool inducing factor.

The SLS Gullwing AMG looks like it has been sculpted out of a single, solid block of metal. Such is the taut form of it’s body along with the sleek flowing lines. It’s forbear, the original Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing couldn’t be prouder. While Mercedes Benz India haven’t announced any plans of selling this German beauty in India, they might just go ahead and launch it here if they find enough enthusiasts willing to put money where their mouth is.
