BMW-Mini’s big plans for India are no more a secret and today, the car maker has revealed the models that will be on display at the 11th edition of Delhi Auto Expo early next month. As far as BMW’s Auto Expo line-up is concerned, the car to look out for at the BMW stands will be the F10 BMW M5 sports sedan. Alongside the world’s best sports sedan will be a limited edition BMW Individual 7-Series Composition inspired by piano manufacturer Steinway & Sons. BMW Vision ConnectedDrive concept study will also be unveiled during the exposition.

The big attraction though will be the launch of the Mini brand in India. Mini will be placed as a premium brand and we expect prices to be well over Rs 20 lakh. That said, know one knew which models from the Mini range would be made available. However, BMW has today revealed the cars that will be showcased at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo as part of the launch. A separate Mini Pavilion will be erected at Hall no. 9 at Pragati Maidan which will have three models from the Mini line-up on display.

The Mini Hatch, Convertible and the new Countryman will be at the stands. Now, the Mini Coupe is available in various configurations all the way from the very basic Mini One to the more sportier Cooper models. Mini offers a similar range of exciting and sporty convertibles along with the coupe. Comparatively, the Mini Countryman has been the new kid among the long line of Mini Cooper cars. The Countryman is basically an off-road version of the Mini. The Countryman offers a raised ride height and four-wheel drive. The car is also available in two-wheel drive configurations also.

Other Mini models include the Clubman and Coupe. BMW hasn’t been quite specific about the models that will be available in India. IndianCarsBikes.in will confirm the line-up and will report on the same at a later date. That said, the car will brought in to India as CBUs and hence will pretty pricey. But, the iconic image of the Mini will probably help BMW-Mini secure first round of bookings during the auto expo. We are very excited to welcome Mini into India and will be reporting from the venue on January 5th. Stick around to get the latest updates from the 11th Delhi Auto Expo.
