Now, this isn’t a revelation as the Indian blogosphere has been abuzz with the news that the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X will make it to Indian shores right from 2009. What indeed is new is the fact that the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X il be launched in India on the 1st of May, 2010.

Mark your calendars, ladies and gentlemen. The price is expected to be somewhere in the region of INR 30-35 Lakhs.

Meanwhile, here is what defines the legendary Mitsubishi Lancer series of cars, the engine, the rally bred suspension and body design. The Evo X will feature a 2 liter inline four, turbocharged petrol engine that will generate in excess of 275 horses.

A full time all wheel drive and Mitsubishi’s torque vectoring system will help the seamless power transfer from the engine, to the wheels and finally to terra firma. The rally bred suspension too will be top spec resulting in more thrills per minute. Drifting around like Tommi Makinen in the machine which epitomizes him will be very much possible come May 1st, 2010, right here in India.

ya man u r right its not possible to it being sooo pricy we”ll rarely see any of these cars in india if the price is correct
