Sometime ago, we brought you a report about the imminent launch of the new Aveo at the upcoming 2010 Auto Expo. Now, we bring you detailed pics of the new Chevrolet Aveo Hatchback and the Sedan. The hatchback will get a 1.2 liter and a 1.4 liter engine while the sedan will get a DOHC 1.6 liter engine producing more than a hundred horses. The engine which will transmit power through a five speed manual gearbox might also get an auto tranny in the near future. In all probability, both these cars will be showcased at the upcoming 2010 Auto Expo.

Coming to the exteriors, both the new Aveo Hatchback and Sedan get stylish front grilles and headlamps.

This cosmetic makeover is intended to give the Aveo fresh appeal as well as bring it closer to the looks of it’s elder sibling, the Chevrolet Cruze. The interiors too get a major refreshing with the cars now featuring new redesigned dashboards with the twin cockpit layout we first saw on the Cruze and of course better upholstery. The rear end however remains pretty much the same with no significant changes with the current models. That pretty much sums up the new Chevrolet Aveo Hatchback and the Aveo Sedan for you.
