Fiat Palio 2011 coming to Auto Expo in India
As expected, The Fiat Palio facelift is all set to make it at Auto Expo scheduled for next week.
Fiat Palio has got a big fan following in India. Lovable machine for petrolheads, Palio has sustained the Indian market and roads for a decade. Often the first car of its buyers, Italian-born Fiat, in recent years has had fierce competition from other small cars that are at par in terms of cost, efficiency and looks. This has drastically reduced the density of Fiat machines on Indian roads, one of earliest car makers in the country.
The one major factor for its poor performance in India is credited to Fiat India’s “not so good” sales and service network. But now, after the success of Fiat Linea in Indian Auto Market, Fiat India is coming up with new plans to re-launch Fiat Palio in India & make it a grand success story in the coming times.
Few days back, we had reported the news of Italian car manufacturer reducing the cost of spare parts for the Fiat Palio by a huge margin in India.
As stated by an auto magazine, the new Palio is a “refreshed, artistic improvisation by taking clues from Fiat Punto Evo”, the later revealed at the last Frankfurt Motor Show. The front grille much resembles that of Punto whereas the bottom portion retains the looks of its predecessor, the current Palio. The slanted tail gate and sharp tail lamps take its structure one step further towards the New Grande Punto.
It is also stipulated that the engines of the new Palio will abide by the Bharat Stage IV emission norms. The car is expected to carry forward the same price tag of Rs 3.45-4.5 lakh as the current Palio.
So what do you think about this new Fiat Palio 2011 ?

A “blind-Fiat-Palio-Lover” is speaking to YOU,
I’m impatiently waiting for 2011 to see and own such beauties. In fact I would have also owned Palio1.3-MJD, but I wish to have Palios of different moulds in my drive-away. It w’ll be amazing to see Punto- and Bravo-rendered Palio and to own those loyal-machines is really an emotional-driver’s great pleasure rather ecstacy.
