We like: Paddle shifting on Older Porsches now possible
Porsche 911 Carrera S 1
You’re sitting in your Porker 911 that you lovingly bought after years of hard work and here comes a smart Alec on a piddly Honda Civic paddling away at the gears and smirks as he sees you shifting your porker’s gears the good old way with the center knob. Of course, you’ll be miffed with Porsche for not giving you extra bragging rights at the country club.

Porsche Paddle Shifter Retro Fit
Well, all this is something that is a thing of the past as your PDK gearbox now gets the steering wheel mounted paddle shifters, straight from the Porsche factory as a retro fit. Now, that’ll make you feel better, won’t it? You will be poorer by about 940 Euros for this retro fit but the feeling that you get as you speed shift and see the Honda Civic becoming a rapid blur in your RVMs, priceless isn’t it? Meanwhile, the boys driving the Cayennes and the Panameras of the world needn’t fret. Starting from August, these folks too can also shift gears the paddle way.
