The to-be-launched Renault Fluence spied in Chennai

Time and again, folks in and around Chennai have spotted a large, elegant sedan doing rounds with little or no camouflage. Finally here are some pics caught by an alert Team-Bhpian who calls himself Visaster. The car in the spy shots is the Renault Fluence, a mid size sedan that will take on the Honda Civic and the Chevrolet Cruze, when it is launched in early or mid 2011 in India. Renault India, which will produce the Fluence at it’s Chennai plant, is busy testing the car in the rough and tumble of the tough-as-nails Indian conditions. The very elegant looker of a car, the Fluence, which was also showcased at the 2010 Indian Auto Expo, is expected to be available in both petrol and diesel engine guises at a price tag of close to INR 13-14 Lakhs.
