Scoop: Hyundai i10 Facelifted
Facelifted Hyundai i10
The Hyundai i10 has been due for a facelift in the face of intensifying competition. Hyundai India seems to have just done that with a heavily clad Hyundai i10 doing test duty somewhere on the Bangalore – Chennai highway.
From the looks of it, the refreshed i10 gets new headlamps and tail lamps. Also, a new grille with newer looking front and rear bumpers also might be in the offing along with foggies that look a little different.
While the car scooped is of a left hand drive version, we don’t know whether this version will indeed make it to India although there have been murmurs that a newer looking Hyundai i10 will be in Hyundai showrooms in India by October 2010. Now, what remains to be seen is whether Hyundai does something with the bad ride quality that has been a constant grouse in the first gen i10. Also, we hope Hyundai’s designers don’t mess up the i10 not so great design further just like they did with the Verna Transform. Going by Hyundai’s abysmal styling history, we’re keeping our hopes low.
