Scooped: Undisguised Plain Jane 2012 Honda Civic

Some over at Noticias have managed to grab a few pics of the 2012 Honda Civic sitting plum in a transporter just about to be shipped out perhaps to the US of A from Japan and we aren’t exactly chuffed at what we’re seeing. Just like we had managed to scoop a Japanese car mag predicting a plain jane looking Honda Civic come 2012, that might just be the case given the latest sightings. This most certainly will tick more than a few people off as the current Civic is known for it’s radical styling that has endeared it to many of it’s owner.

With the 2012 Civic, Honda seems to be going backwards in time by producing a car that is simply not radical enough. Rather, it looks like the Civic is on a mission to look like the Honda Accord’s safe design in a few years time and no, that isn’t necessarily a good thing even though more grey haired Indian men might make a beeline to Honda dealerships. If this indeed is the 2012 Civic coming our way, truth be told, we are simply disappointed on the looks front. Come on Honda, you most definitely can do way better than what we’re getting to see.
