Speculation: Is this how the Ford Figo facelift will look like?
The Ford Figo has been here for a while now and though the spacious hatchback is a superb offering with a blend of responsive performance, frugality and features, it looks a generation behind, especially when compared with the more contemporary of B+ hatchbacks. However, the Brazilian version of the Figo(called Fiesta in Brazil), looks much more appealing, leading us to question whether Ford India will adopt the same styling when they facelift the Figo.
The Brazilian version of the Figo gets an all new front end. The headlamps follow Ford’s kinetic design philosophy, which runs across all Ford models. The headlamps are much more curvier than in the Indian Figo and this gives the front end a brand new look. The bumper and the grille too come with changes that makes the Figo’s front end much more likeable and contemporary. The upgrades continue to the rear where the Brazilian model gets tail lights, which seem very similar to the Fusion.
These changes apart, the Brazilian model still retains the characteristic lines of the Indian Figo. Very recently, the Figo got a minor upgrade with the tilt steering, USB port for the stereo and alloy wheels on the top end Figo Titanium variant, for a small price increase of INR 18,000. Now, features aren’t what the Figo lacked in the first place. Rather, more contemporary looks and better interiors, the plastic quality in particular, are what can make an already good car, quite fantastic.
This we hope will happen when the facelift of the Figo arrives. For now, you’d have to tell us whether you like how the Brazilian version of the Figo looks. Would you like Ford India to come up with something like this when they facelift the Figo? We’d love to hear from you through the comments section below!

Not Bad…Not Bad at all.
Well indeed, this FIGO looks an absolute killer from front….rear rather looks more simple than Indian version of it. An Brazilian front styling and Indian rear styling along with some more cuts and chisels on sides would make it a absolute beauty on road with blend of refined engine, fully featured and FORD’s top class handling. FORD its time for a refreshed FIGO now ;)
The rear portion styling is not at all impressive.Front looks are good but not as good as its competitors.
You Ford don’t think of customer care just want of more money.stop face lifting this Figo we all like the Indian version only, the rear of Brazilian Figo looks a bit too old, the Indian version is a superb blend of style and economy. I don’t think this face lifted Figo will hit the market although Indian Figo rocks.Ford, please stop just face lifting the Figo but try to improve the Figo’s ground clearance and front suspension and rear head room too.
