The biggest launch of the 2010 Auto Expo, the Tata Aria Crossover MPV will hit showroom floors in April, 2010. It will be priced at INR 12.5-14 Lakhs.

Like we had predicted earlier, Tata has hit the nail on the head and has priced this huge and feature laden Crossover MPV at a price that will bludgeon competition.

Tata plans to offer both 2WD and 4WD versions of the Tata Aria, with an array of versions carrying different feature specs.

That said, Tata has to manage to get it’s quality spot on, as at this price point, it will directly take on the high quality and extremely refined market leader, the Toyota Innova and the new Toyota SUV, the Fortuner.

If Tata manage to get this very crucial factor right, they will certainly laugh all the way to the bank.

Tata’s have somehow managed to get price warriors on Indian roads. Space, comfort all these are in its armor. But i have personally wished Tata’s would do what they donot do best is A.Ride quality and B.Quality of plastics.

Just these 2 things and Tata’s can take on any one , they may increase the price a little but these 2 things are what max buyers look at. Hope to c the same in Aria…
