Tata Indica Vista Facelift coming on August 22nd?
The Tata Indica Vista has been around for a while now without any major facelift and Tata Motors Limited has been testing a facelifted version in the past few months. Finally, it seems that the facelifted Tata Indica Vista will be launched on the 22nd of August, according to our friends at IndianAutosBlog. The facelifted car will now look exactly from the Manza from front due to the chromed grille and the double barreled headlamp design.
While this design looks quite good on the Manza too, it is let down by the large boot overhang which looks like an afterthought on the sedan. But since the Vista is a hatchback, the new front end should make an already good looking car even better looking. Changes to the interior too are anticipated with new upholstery and other bells and tinkles that the Manza features. One change we’d like though, is the instrument console being placed in the conventional position, in front of the driver rather than the center layout.
Knowing Tata, expect to see a raft of new features on the facelifted Vista. Engine options however are set to remain the same. The Indica Vista Facelift will motor on with the 1.3 Liter Multijet diesel engine and the two petrol engines in the form of the 1.2 Liter and 1.4 Liter 90 Bhp Safire petrol motor. The 1.4 Liter TDI diesel motor might continue to do duty as the BS3 model. So, there are plenty of engine options to choose from in the Indica Vista, like always.
The Indica Vista is one of the better built Tata cars and let’s hope that this facelift makes the Vista much more desirable. Sales of the Vista haven’t been anything to write home about and with this facelift, Tata Motors would hope that more prospective hatchback buyers will gravitate towards the Indica Vista, which is one of the most spacious and comfortable hatchback in the Indian car market.

Vista Facelift has already reached the showrooms…
I took delivery of my Manza Elan yesterday at Hosur and saw the refreshed Vista there at the showroom. However the sales guy said they have not received pamphlets for this car.
Thank you for the information Muthu!
Cheers,
Jay
