2010 Indian Auto Expo: Tata Magic IRIS up close

The Tata Iris might just be the ubiquitous autorickshaw’s replacement, we all are so hoping for. The Tata Iris was launched at the 2010 Indian Auto Expo and was a major crowd puller with plenty of showgoers comparing the Tata Iris to a cartoon contraption.

Yes, the Tata Iris did look a little cartoonish, but it packed enough punch under that cute exterior to do duty as a capable, economical people mover.
