The Tata Aria was the big splash of the year at the 2010 Indian Auto Expo, and now Tata Motors seems to have finally decided to launch the Aria in the coming days. While we have profiled the 7 seater Crossover MPV exhaustively in our previous posts, here is what a senior official from Tata Motors had to say about the Tata Aria’s launch,

The Aria should be launched most likely in May or June. We are going according to our plans. As for exporting it, we will make all our cars available outside the country depending on their need or relevance.

So, expect a major shakedown of the high end Crossover segment as the Tata Aria is set to undercut many of it’s rivals with a price of INR 12.5-14 Lakhs, something that only Tata Motors can manage to deliver launch after launch.
