Tata Sumo Victa refresh on cards: MUV to get new tech upgrades

Tata Motors seems to be on a roll these days. Recently, we saw the launch of the Aria 4×4 and soon we’ll have the Venture. A new Tata Safari is also under development. An all new Indica Vista is also rumored to be ready for launch. Meanwhile, amidst all speculations, NDTV Profit has reported of the Victa MUV to upgraded by Tata Motors soon.

The new car will sport a reworked interior as well as a fresh new exterior. Tata Motors will attempt to change the overall image of the Victa which for the past few years has been no more than a taxi cab. The Victa, like the Toyota Qualis faced the same issues regarding its image as it became more and more popular with tour operators.

As far as speculations go, the new Victa could sport a DICOR engine. Tata Motors could also upgrade the age-old gearbox and suspension (currently runs on leaf springs) to make the car more desirable.
