Toyota Etios Sedan and Liva Hatchback available with discounts in the form of 1 Rupee insurance!

Toyota is a brand that usually shies away from discounts but going low cost seems to have cost the brand some of its premiumn-ess, this time being manifested by the discounts that Toyota dealers are offering to push sales of the Etios Sedan and the Etios Liva Hatchback this festive season. Toyota dealers are currently offering insurance at INR 1 on the petrol variants of both the Toyota Etios Sedan and the Liva Hatchback.

However, discounts are not being offered on diesel variants of both the Etios Sedan and the Liva Hatchback. Along with the 1 Rupee insurance schemes, dealers are also offering exchange bonus on the petrol variants of the Etios Sedan and the Liva Hatchback, when one exchanges his or her car for the petrol Etios twins. The Toyota Etios Sedan and the Etios Liva Hatchback come in both petrol and diesel engine options and represent Toyota’s least priced models ever.

The Etios twins were developed specifically for the Indian market, after Toyota’s extensive market research right from the color Indians like to even the interiors that Indians feel most comfortable in. Space is the strong point of both the Etios Sedan and the Liva Hatchback although the quality of the interiors leave a lot to be desired on both these cars. The Etios Sedan is also a very able handler although the Liva Hatchback is a more sedate handler.

Engines of both the Etios Sedan and Liva Hatchback, both in petrol and diesel guise could do with much better sound insulation but these are compromises one will have to make for a Toyota product that is priced quite low. The high mileage of the diesel engine in both the Etios Sedan and the Liva Hatchback is a major selling point and given the trend of diesel cars outstripping petrol cars in demand, it is easy to see why Toyota dealers are offering discounts on only the petrol engined models.

Hello

The offer is available for only Petrol Models.
I was on hunt to buy Diesel Etios Sedan.
They are not even offering 1 rupee Discount on Diesel models. They are just saying we will try to get the car for you in three months.
