Now, Volkswagen recalls it’s cars in Brazil
Volkswagen Gol
After Honda and Toyota it is now Volkswagen’s time to announce a mass recall and this time, it is in Brazil. Volkswagen Brazil announced a mass recall of 193,620 cars with rear wheel lubrication issues. This issue, if left unattended causes noise in the preliminary stages and could go up to the extent of the wheel seizing or even the wheel coming off.
If this happens, loss of control and hence a potentially fatal accident could be the result.

Volkswagen Voyage
The recall affects Volkswagen’s Novo Gol and Voyage models made in Brazil before July 2009. With this latest recall from a reputed brand like Volkswagen, car buyers across the world are getting edgy about falling quality levels resulting in recalls of unprecedented scales in the near past.
We sincerely hope that the car manufacturers get their quality act right in the future as further recalls/flaws could seriously dent many a big brand name. Now, that’s not what an industry still licking it wounds from a recession really wants.
