AUDI opens its first Dealership in Kolkata
AUDI India today announced its entry into the eastern part of the country by opening its first ever dealership in the city of joy – Kolkata. The showroom is largest car showroom of its kind in the entire city and is located at prime location on the AJC Bose Road.
Based on the unique Audi Terminal concept, it has a typical black curve inside and the honeycomb aluminium facade on the exterior. Spread over an area of 6,500 sq. ft with a display that can accommodate eight Audi cars, the showroom will display the entire model range of cars available in India. Read more
McLaren Automotive To Open 35 Dealerships in its Global Retail Network
McLaren Automotive has announced opening of 35 dealerships in 19 countries across the globe by the year 2011. The company is gearing up for the launch of their new car MP4-12C which will be launched in July this year at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the U.K.
In an attempt to make their car a global success, these dealerships will help the company in achieving a strong sales figure.

Mercedes Benz Opens New Dealership “Alcon” at Porvorim in Goa
Mercedes-Benz India became the first luxury car maker in India to open a dealership, ALCON, at Porvorim in Goa.
Mercedes India inaugurated the new facility yesterday which has a total area of 11,100 sq. ft and features a valet service, plush customer lounge & fullfledged workshop.
With the inauguration of this new showroom in India, Mercedes-Benz now has extended its dealerships network across 26 cities with 55 touchpoints across India.

Harley Davidson India: 5 Dealerships in Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Mumbai & New Delhi
Harley Davidson India has confirmed the details of first 5 Dealerships in India and the motorcycle bookings will begin from 20th April, 2010.
As reported in the past, the company is offering 10 models in India from their 2010 range. The Super bikes start with a price tag of around INR 7 Lakhs.

Jaguar Land Rover India Opens New Showroom in Delhi
After its successful entry into the Indian subcontinent last year at Mumbai, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has opened its second Indian showroom in Delhi.

Nissan India Looking For New Dealers
Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd is planning to ramp up its distribution network in India and have a total 9 products in its line-up.
“By the end of this month we will be adding three more, taking the total dealerships to 11. By 2012 we will have 55 dealers to cover 85 percent of the Indian car market. That is a conservative number as we may increase the numbers later,” Kiminobu Tokuyama, managing director and CEO, told IANS in an interview.
Toyota Eyes 150 Auto Dealerships In India By 2010
World’s largest car maker Toyota today said it is looking to expand its dealership network in the country with plans to have a total of 150 outlets by 2010.
The Japanese auto maker, which is present in India through a joint venture with the Kirloskar Group, today inaugurated the 90th outlet of ‘Espirit Toyota’ here in the city.
“We started with 27 outlets in India in 2000 and we plan to expand our network to 150 dealerships by 2010,” Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) Deputy Managing Director (Marketing) Sandeep Singh said in a statement. Read more
