Auto Rickshaws are pesky three wheeled contraptions that most city slickers silently or sometimes vociferously hate. But, getting across the crowded Indian cityscapes would be more than a little difficult if our didn’t play host to these three wheeled urban transporters.

So, here are a couple of new auto rickshaws you can actually look forward to traveling in. Bajaj Auto has unveiled two new passenger three-wheelers – the RE145D and the RE445M.

The RE145D will be available in CNG, LPG and Petrol versions while the RE445M will sport a diesel engine. The cleaner fuel options like CNG and LPG will help reducing the pollution in our already over polluted cities while the petrol and diesel engines too will play their part of cutting emissions by adhering to the BS3 norms. Apart from lower emissions, better mileage, supple suspension, more space and a stronger body are the other features that these autorickshaws bring to the equation.

The Bajaj RE145D will be priced at INR 98,000 while the RE445M will cost INR 1.21 Lakh, both figures Ex-Showroom, Pune.
