“We have entered new segments with the introduction of MN25 Tipper and MN40, and through these two products we would like to strengthen our range in the fast-growing medium and heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCV) segment,” said Rakesh Kalra, MD, MNAL.

Kalra further said the production line at the Chakan plant, near Pune, has a capacity to manufacture 50,000 commercial vehicles in three shifts and the capacity can be increased with minor investments. “We’re also extending our focus on bigger buses which will be introduced in the domestic market”, said Kalra
