Tata Motors all set to test it’s hydrogen engine on Buses and light trucks

Tata Motors is one Indian manufacturer who is betting real big on clean energy. Case in point is the Indica EV which Tata Motors plans to sell in the Indian market sometime in late 2010-early 2011. Joining the electric car technology is Tata Motors’ hydrogen engine which is truly a zero emission technology.
The hydrogen engine which is all set to enter serial production will power a range of buses and light trucks to test it’s potential and capabilities in real world conditions.
This testing will enable Tata Motors to refine the hydrogen engine further and in due time, we could see hydrogen Tata buses and trucks plying on Indian roads.
