Hyundai Santa Fe SUV To Be Launched in India By 2010
Hyundai India is planning to launch its SUV – Hyundai Santa Fe in the Indian Market next year(2010). The Company has plans to bring its 800 cc car by 2011. But there are no details regarding the pricing of these cars as of now.

Hyundai Santa Fe has proved to be a very successful SUV in other markets for Hyundai.
“We will be bringing in the Santa Fe to India by next year and we also hope to bring our smaller car than Santro, which will be an 800 cc vehicle, by 2011,” Hyundai Motor India Managing Director H S Lheem told reporters on the sideline of the SIAM annual convention. Read more
Hyundai’s New Santro On September 1 2009, To Phase Out Getz By 2011
Hyundai India Motor is going to launch an all new Santro on 1st September 2009 and the company plans to phase out Hyundai Getz by 2011.
The move seems to be propelled by the new Maruti Suzuki Zen Estilo which has come up with revised styling and interiors and with the all new 1.0 Litre K-Series engine. K-Series engine is believed to have improved Fuel Efficiency.

Anoop Prakash appointed Managing Director of Harley Davidson India
Harley-Davidson has finally entered into the Indian Motorcyles market & it expects to start selling its iconic motorbikes in the year 2010.
The Harley-Davidson in India will be led by managing director Anoop Prakash. The company has started the process of finding initial dealerships in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Punjab State.

Hyundai Motor India to Increase Production & Headcount
An increase in demand from European Markets is pushing Hyundai Motor India to increase its headcount and production in India. The demand in the domestic market is also showing good signs.
Hyundai India will up its manufacturing capacity by 20 per cent and is planning to hire 1,000 more people this month at its two manufacturing units in Chennai.
“We have started the third shift from July 10 at Plant-I, for which we hired over 1,000 people. We will start the third shift at Plant-II from September 14 and induct another 1,000 people this month,” said H.S. Lheem, MD and CEO, Hyundai Motor India. Read more
