Suzuki Motorcycles India, for long has been harping about bringing in the brutally fast, liter class, Suzuki GSX-R1000 to India.

Finally, we’ve been hearing some good rumblings from our credible sources who even have gone ahead to say that the Suzuki GSX-R1000 will see a launch date, even before half of this year elapses.

Big Suzukis, like Kwackers have always been machines that scare even the most skillful riders silly and the ’10 GSX-R1000 we hope, wouldn’t be too different in that respect.

The GSX-R1000, which has been around for two and half decades is one such machine that demands the utmost respect from riders as 191 raging thoroughbreds nestle between your legs, waiting to turn the horizon into a blur. While the 2010 GSX-R is nowhere as mad, as violent and as fierce as the 2005 madcap version, it still is one motorcycle that will propel you past the 300Kph mark with absolute alacrity.

As a law abiding soul, you certainly shouldn’t be trying to come anywhere close to that figure on public roads but temptation, ah, temptation. 12-14 big ones is what it will take to bring home one of these, this summer.
