Homegrown two-wheeler manufacturer, Bajaj Auto Ltd. has finally brought back its good scorer in the Pulsar family, the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 to the Indian market.
The refreshed Pulsar NS 200 now retails from company’s showrooms at a price tag of Rs. 96,443 ex-showroom.
The updated Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 comes with a revised engine, which now meets BS-IV emission standards and also gets some aesthetic updates in the form of some new body graphics, changed instrument cluster and lights.
The bike now gets an all-new dual-tone grey and black paint shade. Apart from this, there’s another new color in the offering, a grey and red dual tone shade, which looks all the more attractive and appealing on the motorcycle and then there is the white and grey shade on offer.
The Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 comes with a 200cc, single-cylinder 4-valve, triple-spark engine, which it shared with the KTM Duke 200 and which produces a respectable 23 BHP of power and churning out 18.3 Nm of peak torque, while being mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Bajaj unfortunately has skipped this opportunity of providing the motorcycle with ABS, which is something which customers are paying a good attention to while making their purchase. The bike comes with the feature of Auto Headlamp On or AHO function.
The company had ceased the sales of the said bike in India, sometime early last year, post the introduction of two other models in the Pulsar range, namely the Bajaj Pulsar AS 150 and the Pulsar AS 200. The Pulsar AS 200 was introduced at the similar price point as the erstwhile Pulsar 200 NS and hence, Bajaj took the call of pulling off the bike from the domestic market.
The updated Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 now makes a comeback when the market has grown and a lot fiercer competition is in place, for the bike to stand a chance for itself.
