Dani Pedrosa
The MotoGP battle now moved to Misano in Italy for the next round of the 2010 World Championship. Dani Pedrosa was in superb form after his win in Indianapolis, USA last weekend. Pedrosa won himself a spot at pole for tomorrows race with just a second before the checkered flag. Pedrosa blitzed the track with a time of 1’33.948.

Jorge Lorenzo
Lorenzo and Stoner failed to match Pedrosa’s time. Lorenzo posted a 2nd best time of 1’34.256, 0.308sec off the pace of Pedrosa. While Stoner managed 1’34.397. Both Yamaha and Ducati struggled in the final sector of the circuit which resulted in Pedrosa on his Honda cementing his place at the top.

Casey Stoner
Stoner lead the first 20 minutes of the session but crashed at turn four. Even after crashing out, Stoner was able to post a respectable time after his team had worked on his bike.

Valentino Rossi
Valentino Rossi will be in fourth place ahead of Indianapolis pole man, Ben Spies. Randy de Puniet’s effort saw the LCR Honda secure sixth place. Colin Edwards, Andrea Dovizioso and San Carlo Honda Gresini pair Marco Simoncelli and Marco Melandri completed the top ten in the hour.
Héctor Barberá fell at turn four, and he eventually qualified in 12th on his Ducati.
