Harley Davidson prices start at INR 6.95 Lakhs

Harley Davidson India has come out with pricing of it’s twelve models that it plans to sell in India. Sitting at the entry level is the Sportster which will be priced at INR 6.95 Lakhs. The Harley Davidson V-Rod and the FatBoy will sell at INR 18.45 Lakhs. The top end Harley Davidson, the totally customized CVO will retail for a whopping INR 34.95 Lakh.

Harley Davidson India has denied any plans of manufacturing or assembling any of it’s motorcycles in India anytime in the near future. All the Harley Davidson motorcycles will be imported into India as Completely Built Units(CBU).

That said, the high pricing will certainly disappoint enthusiasts who were expecting a cheaper, made-for-India Harley Davidson Motorcycle.

Meanwhile, bookings will open from April, 2010.
