Hero Honda has done what they do best: Endow their motorcycles with sticker and paint jobs with the other occasional cosmetic upgrades. The 2011 Hero Honda Karizma is here and like it’s previous iteration gets cosmetic mods to make it a little more appealing even as the Indian premium motorcycle finds himself tugged away to some really sporty and high performance 250cc motorcycles like the 2011 Honda CBR250R to name just one of them.

Nevertheless, the Zma gets a bunch of new paint shades, some more stickers slapped on to the tank and front half fairing, a newer engine cowl, clear lens indicators, side reflectors and finally a meter console in a different colour. That pretty much is the 2011 Hero Honda Karizma for you. Now, will all these minor changes be enough to give the Karizma a last gasp at the hustings.

We think it just might, as the Hero Honda Karizma R continues to remain one of the most affordable and bomb proof cross country touring motorcycles. This, combined with increasing purchasing power amongst the Indian youth could just give the Zma one more season of relevance. Buy the 2011 Karizma R if you intend to do office/college runs on the weekdays along with long distance tours thrown in for the weekends.
