The all New 2010 Bimota DB8 Bike with a 1198 Testastretta
The Italian exotic bike manufacturer Bimota unveiled a cheaper and powerful version of the DB7 named DB8. It is actually a Biposoto (meaning it has two seats).
It is powered by the famous Ducati 1198 Testastretta Evolution V-twin motor that offers upto an amazing 168 hp thats 8 more compared to the DB7 and 131.5nm of torque that is 9.5nm more than the DB7.
Where Bimotas costlier models such as the DB7 use carbon fiber for the bodywork and subframe and titanium for the exaust the DB8 veers away from the exotic and expensive materials to keep the price down, the DB8 instead of using fiber and titanium uses plastic and aluminium. But make no mistake, its still a performer and it will still propel you to insane speeds.
The surprise package is the price of the bike its priced at Rs.15.1 lakh in the US which is 2 lakhs cheaper than the DB7.
