Suzuki India to launch GSX-R1000 and the Bandit 1250S Superbikes on February 15th,2010

Suzuki Motorcycles India launched the Suzuki Hayabusa sportsbike and the Intruder cruiser in 2009. The Suzuki Hayabusa soon topped superbike sales charts with the Intruder too managing decent outgo. Now, Suzuki is set to make further inroads into the growing Indian superbike segment and launch two more high end superbikes.

The first will be the Suzuki GSX-R 1000 which will take on Yamaha’s R1 and the Honda CBR1000 in the liter class sportsbike category. Suzuki is also planing to uneil the Bandit 1250S street fighter which will compete for to honors with the Honda CB1000 street fighter.

These motorcycles will be launched on the 15th of February, 2010 at pricesof INR 9 Lakh for the Bandit 1250S and INR 12.5 Lakh for the Suzuki GSX-R 1000.
