TVS Jupiter Classic Edition goes on sale for a price of Rs 55,266. Gets a new paint option and many new features. No mechanical changes means same specs and mileage
TVS Motor Company, the famous South Indian two wheeler manufacturer, has launched the new TVS Jupiter Classic Edition in the automatic scooter segment in India. The new Classic Edition of the Jupiter comes with several new features and a new paint job to make this automatic gearless scooter even more attractive. The new TVS Jupiter Classic Edition has an ex-showroom price of Rs 55,266 in New Delhi. This means the new model is only slightly costlier than the regular variants. Please note here that the new limited edition model doesn’t get any mechanical changes, which means the specifications and mileage of this automatic scooter remain unchanged.
The TVS Jupiter automatic scooter has already become a pretty popular option among automatic scooter buyers in the country. With the addition of the new Classic Edition, the Jupiter will get even more attractive. Talking on the launch of the Classic Edition, Aniruddha Haldar, Vice President, TVS Motor Company said, “Timelessness is the true hall mark of a Classic. Unchanging and yet always contemporary that’s how we have always seen our offering of TVS Jupiter to our consumers. And continuing its promise of ‘ZYADA KA FAYDA’, we celebrate timeless value in celebrating Classic, the all new TVS Jupiter Classic Edition. TVS Jupiter Classic Edition Price in India
The new Jupiter Classic Edition has an ex-showroom price of Rs 55,266. This makes the new limited edition model slightly more expensive than the regular variants. However, in return, you get some new features and a new paint option, too. Hence, we feel that a small increase of roughly Rs 2000 is more than justified through the new features and a special paint option.
TVS Jupiter Classic Edition Features
The new limited edition model of the Jupiter comes with many new features. These features come together to make the model more attractive. While the new scooter has a slightly higher price of Rs 2,000, the additional features it comes with justifies the increase in price. Here is a list of new features available on the Classic Edition

TVS Jupiter Classic Edition Specs
109.7cc, Single Cylinder, Air Cooled
8 BHP @ 7500 rpm
8 Nm @ 5500 rpm
Like we have been telling you, the new Classic Edition doesn’t get any mechanical change to speak of. All this means that the 110cc single-cylinder engine that powers the regular Jupiter also powers this special model. This 110cc engine comes mated with a CVT and generates a maximum power of 7.9 BHP @ 7500 RPM and a peak torque of 8 Nm at 5,500 RPM.
While not too powerful, the engine is pretty lovable due to it peppy nature. The Jupiter isn’t as fun to ride as, say, the Aprilia SR 125, but it definitely enjoys a sportier nature than the Activa 110. Thsi attribute is enough to help Jupiter have a distinct identity in its segment.
TVS Jupiter Classic Edition Mileage
Even the mileage remains the same as that of the regular model as there’s absolutely no change in the engine. The TVS Jupiter automatic scooter offers a claimed mileage of 62 KMPL. You can easily achieve up to 55 KMPL in normal riding conditions.
So, what do you think of the new TVS Jupiter Classic Edition? Do you think that the new special edition can help TVS achieve better sales figures from the Jupiter.
