125cc Yamaha SS125 launched
Yamaha SS125
Yamaha India has launched its latest offering for the volume segment of the market. The SS125 marks Yamaha’s re-entry into the mainstream bike market flooded with 125cc bikes.
The bike comes with a 125cc engine which produces 11bhp which is harnessed through a 5-speed gearbox that is tweaked for fuel economy and the best possible performance. So you can imagine it to be a Gladiator in fancy clothing.
As far as toys are concerned the SS 125 gets an aerodynamic racy under cowl, tachometer, lowered front cowl, light weight aluminum alloy wheels and disc brake at the front. Expect descent fuel economy figures of around 70km/lt.

SS125
is the successor to Yamaha Gladiator Type SS, and Yamaha completely dropped the Gladiator name now. Through the years Gladiator has been re-designed and refined 4 times. And SS125 is the latest version, with the best design and graphics and the best handling. The SS125 and Gladiator Type SS have all similar specifications(Physical, Electrical and Mechanical) except the colors and graphics.
