As you all know, the 2011 Bahrain GP was deferred due to the political unrest in the country which lead to violence on the streets. Formula 1 top-boss, Bernie Ecclestone had left the decision to the Bahrain government and sighting security concerns the crown prince of Bahrain decided to call off the race.

There was still a question as to if the race will be rescheduled for some other day or to some other venue. Bernie Ecclestone, CEO of the Formula One Group, has verified that a November date is most likely for the Bahrain Grand Prix. This means, F1 fans will be treated to three back-to-back races at the end of the season.

“I’m hoping beyond hope things settle peacefully and we find a slot later in the year,” Ecclestone told BBC Sport, also ruling out his previous suggestion of holding the event in August. “If there is peace in Bahrain then we will be there, we will find a way.”

If the new schedule is passed in the World Motor Sport Council (WMSC) meeting, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Brazil grand prixs will be staged over a period of a fortnight.
