2012 Formula 1 Championship calender confirmed. Indian GP scheduled for October 28th

The FIA, the governing body that manages Formula 1, has announced, what could be the confirmed 2012 Formula 1 Championship calender. After review by the teams, logistical management among others and after taking into consideration various other factors including predicted weather conditions, the FIA has finally revealed the final calender for the 2012 season of the Formula 1 World Championship.
The 2012 season will consist of 20 races spread across the globe with the season kicking-off at Melbourne, Australia as always. The F1 engines will roar to life for the first time in 2012 at Melbourne on March 18th. The Indian grand prix which will make its debut during the 2011 season makes it to the list of races for the 2012 season as well. The Indian round is scheduled for 28th October, same as in 2011. Earlier, there were plans to run the Indian GP in the first half of the season but, this does not seem to be the case after all.

The season finale will be hosted by Brazil, again keeping with traditions. The United States Grand Prix will make its debut next season which will be held at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. The United States GP has been scheduled for November 18th. The Bahrain round could not take place due to political unrest in the island nations. However, Bahrain will be hosting the race next season in the first half of the season.
There were reports of Turkey losing the race but if this new schedule is to be believed, Turkey has in fact, been retained for the 2012 season. The mid-season break, which allows our F1 racers a breather will be a month long pause before Formula 1 action resumes at the famous Spa Francorchamps circuit in Belgium on the September 2nd.
